Patriotic Tribute by David Seering
Benefitting the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation, David Seering’s highly anticipated patriotic tribute is the final act for the popular Concerts in the Village summer musical series. The Sinatra-inspired musician plans to pay tribute to this country’s greatest heroes through his talent as both a singer and pianist. Doors open at 7 p.m. on July 3 at the Dugas Pavillion inside the village. Tickets for non-foundation members are $8 for adults and $15 per couple.
City of Destin’s Celebration in the Park
Celebrating five years, the Celebration in the Park 4th of July in Destin event kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with a bike parade. Here locals come out and showcase their patriotic artistic talent by decorating bicycles, wagons, strollers and more. Following the parade, there will be live music and fun activities before the event closes with a fireworks show. Admission to Celebration in the Park is free, and will be located at Morgan Sports Center. The city will conclude its two day 4th of July in Destin celebration with a second fireworks show over the East Pass at the Destin Harbor Thursday evening.
Red, White and Baytowne
The Red, White and Baytowne 4th of July in Destin event promises guests a fun-filled evening at the Village of Baytowne Wharf. Along with a variety of patriotic-themed festivities, guests will enjoy live music from the Amazing Hat Band from 7-9 p.m. before fireworks light up the night sky over the lagoon at 9:15.
Sunset & Fireworks 4th of July Cruise
Not your typical 4th of July celebration, the Sunset & Fireworks cruise allows guests to experience 4th of July in Destin like they have never seen before. During the cruise guests will explore the natural marine life of the scenic Choctawhatchee Bay including dolphins, stingrays and birds. True to it’s name, the Sunset & Fireworks cruise finishes with an unparallelled view of Sandestin’s spectacular fireworks display.
