Festival of the Arts near our Destin hotel

Over 100 artists from around the country will come to Destin, Florida in autumn for the annual Festival of the Arts. Held on October 26th – October 27th, the Festival of the Arts showcases the work of both local and national artists competing for cash prizes. This year’s festivities will be held at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village, right around the corner from our Destin hotel.

See the Art, Meet the Artists

Now in its 18th year, the Festival of the Arts is an extremely popular Destin tradition. Guests at the festival will have the chance to see all types of art including paintings, photography, pottery, clay, collage, mosaic, jewelry and more. Visitors will also have the chance to interact with the artists and purchase their artwork.

Music, Food and More

In addition to fantastic art, the Festival will also feature a bistro-style food court with live music. As a special treat, the Meyers Boarding Company will be running workshops for participants to design, paint and purchase their own skimboards.The Festival will last from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm on Saturday October 26th, and from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm on Sunday October 27th. Admission consists of a three dollar donation to the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation.
