Scuba Training

Don’t worry if you have no experience scuba diving; Emerald Coast Scuba offers beginner’s diving classes. For $65 per hour, novices can learn the basics of scuba diving in a pool. More adventurous students can enjoy a shallow water dive at the Destin Jetties, a popular area with a lot of marine life. This open water option costs $125 and is credited towards a scuba diving certificate.

Scuba Adventures

For vacationers with their open water diver certification, Emerald Coast Scuba offers a variety of great trips. The three hour trip at the Destin Jetties costs $65 for a charter fee or $140 for a package including all the scuba equipment you need. Divers can swim with thousands of crabs, fish, shells and other marine life at depths of up to 55 feet.

The four hour trip, consisting of two dives, is a great way to explore the reefs and shipwrecks of Destin. Divers who choose this exciting option will see wrecked tug boats, barges and liberty ships along with beautiful fish such as snappers, flounders and groupers. This dive includes depths of 85 feet of water, and costs $90 for a charter fee or $175 for a package with equipment included. If you have never been down to 85 feet, you can hire a Divemaster to accompany you on your adventure.
