The 2015 Sandestin Wine Festival will be back for its 29th year of delicious food, amazing music, and, of course, plenty of wine! When and Where is the Sandestin Wine Festival
The 2015 Sandestin Wine Festival will take place from April 16 to April 19 at the Village of Baytowne Wharf, located at 9100 Baytowne Boulevard in Destin.
What to Expect at the Sandestin Wine Festival
The Sandestin Wine Festival consists of several events, including the Official Kick Off Party, the Grand Wine Tasting, the Mind.Body.Beach. fitness event, the Wine Festival VIP Party, and the Brunch on the Bay. During these events, novices can learn more about wines and taste a wide variety of samples, while aficionados can meet winemakers and obtain hard to find bottles. In addition, all guests can purchase their favorite wine selections for discounted prices at the Retail Tent.
Musical Entertainment at the Sandestin Wine Festival
One of the highlights of the Sandestin Wine Festival is the musical entertainment, and this year’s event includes a number of great up-and-coming artists! The Grand Wine Tasting will feature local duo Free Monica as well as popular Nashville musician Maggie Chapman, a Florida native known for her brilliant lyrics and unforgettable melodies. Music for Saturday afternoon’s festivities will be provided by Chris Alvarado and the duo Elenowen. Chris Alvarado has been a finalist in the Nashville Music City Songwriting Competition and the 2014 American Songwriting Awards, and Elenowen is well known to fans of NBC’s The Voice, where the duo performed on the television program’s first season.
