3 of the Best Malls in Destin FL

Destin is home to some of the best shopping, but you won’t find typical malls in Destin FL. Florida is known for its spectacular, sunny weather, which allows for incredible outdoor shopping experiences. Specifically, in the Destin area, there are three mall-like shopping destinations: Destin Commons, Silver Sands Outlets and Grand Boulevard.

1. Destin Commons

When it comes to malls in Destin FL, Destin Commons should be your go-to. It’s probably the closest option to your typical mall. It has been the Emerald Coast’s best outdoor shopping center for more than 15 years. With more than 95 shops and restaurants to choose from, there’s something for everyone.

Featuring a stunning AMC movie theatre and all your favorite shops like Brookstone, Francesca’s and H&M, it’s your one-stop shopping center for all your shopping needs. In fact, Whole Foods is considered part of the shopping center, so even if you’re looking for groceries, Destin Commons has you covered.

Plus, this is one of the closest malls in Destin FL to Henderson Park Inn. While we don’t recommend it because of how busy Highway 98 gets, you could walk from the inn to Destin Commons in less than 30 minutes. But with all the bags of purchases you’re sure to come back with, you’ll probably want to make the short drive.

2. Silver Sands Premium Outlets

About a 10-minute drive down the road from the inn sits one of the best outlet malls in Destin FL. Home to more than 100 designer and name-brand outlet stores, Silver Sand Premium Outlets has everything from sporting goods and housewares to men’s and women’s apparel. You’re sure to find great deals at your favorite stores, like Saks Off Fifth Avenue, Vans, Tory Burch, Columbia and more. While not as many as Destin Commons, Silver Sands Premium Outlets does have a few dining options to select from as well. It is also very much outdoors, but it does feature covered walkways, making it a bit easier to shop when it’s raining or the sunshine is extra bright.

3. Grand Boulevard

With more than 10 options for dining if you’re looking for the best place to dine and do a touch of shopping, this is likely one of the best malls in Destin FL for you. Grand Boulevard has restaurants like Emeril’s Coastal Italian, P.F. Chang’s, Cantina Laredo and more, but dining isn’t their only feature. Once you’re full on delicious food, you can stroll past the many shops, including Anthropologie and Altar’d State among others. The shopping center also features Kittenish, a boutique women’s apparel store by country music artist and area local Jessie James Decker. While this is a little farther from the inn, it’s still only about a 15-minute drive from our property.

Regardless of which of these malls in Destin FL you select, you’re sure to find everything you could want to buy and more. So, if you’re ready to head to Destin and do some shopping, but don’t have your room booked yet, be sure to head to our Rooms & Rates page to secure your accommodations today.
